Residents, businesses, community groups, and visitors are invited to have their say on proposed updates to the Euston Area Plan

Camden Council is consulting on proposed updates to the Euston Area Plan (EAP) – a planning document that will help to shape the future of the Euston area.

Camden is reviewing key parts of the EAP because much has changed since it was first adopted in 2015. The biggest changes are focussed on the station and tracks. As more detailed designs have been developed, this has led to increasing certainty about what could be built, funded and enabled and the timescales involved. We have used this information, what you have told us, and the need to put greater focus on climate change and delivering social value, to inform the proposed updates to the EAP.

The Council wants to hear your views on the proposed updates to the EAP. This engagement will feed into the updated Euston Area Plan. The updated EAP will cover the period to 2047 and will replace the 2015 version once it is adopted as a Development Plan Document (following further consultation with communities and an examination in public by an independent inspector).

You can review the proposed changes and share your views online via the Council’s Commonplace website or in person during one of the drop-in events listed below.

The Euston area includes the following sub-areas: Euston Station and Tracks, Euston Road, Camden Cutting, Drummond Street and Hampstead Road, Regent’s Park Estate, Ampthill and Mornington Crescent Station, and West Somers Town.

Responses should be submitted by Sunday the 19th of February.
